Art exhibition 「ズーーーム/ ZOOOM」 by Ryusuke Sano 佐野凛由輔

この度、WATOWA INC.（代表：小松隆宏）は、オルタナティブロックバンド「King Gnu」とのARTWORKコラボレーションでも話題になっているアーティスト佐野凛由輔の新作のアートエキシビジョン「ズーーーム/ ZOOOM」を elephant STUDIO(渋谷区)の１−２Fで開催いたします。

佐野氏の作品は、普段の日常から、見慣れた風景や音を切り取ってズームし、それぞれにそれぞれの個性やストーリー、エネルギーが散りばめられている。「ズーム」に込められた感情やエネルギーを皆さんに感じてほしい。

今、コロナの影響は生活を変え、生き方を変えてますが、ZOOMして見れば、大切な真ん中は変わらなかったり、視野を広くして見れば、大きく変える必要がなかったり、、、

今の社会も佐野氏のストリート、ファッションの感覚で切り取ることで、楽しくなれる。

部屋にアートを飾る機会もオンラインmtgや、飲み会などで増えている。今までよりも長くいることになった部屋に少しでもエネルギーを発信できたらと思っています。
今回の作品では、買いやすい　数万円単価のものから、アートコレクターから要望の多い１ｍ超えの作品まで佐野氏なりの「　ZOOOM　」が会場内にも散りばめられる。

WHO IS RYUSUKE SANO?

RYUSUKE SANO  佐野凛由輔

1994年 北海道札幌市生まれ　

東京在住。

佐野が日常の何気なく見ている風景にフォーカスしたり、自身の経験や記憶にある色や音を辿り、アクリルやクレヨン、ボールペンなどの様々な道具を用いてキャンバスに落とし込む。

日々、日常にインスパイアされ、脳真に浮かぶ新たな発見が、自身から溢れ出るオリジナルキャラクターや、様々なマテリアルをペイントしたり、破ったり、コラージュしたり、様々な手法に変化し、ストリートとファッションの感覚によって、スタイリッシュな作品へと進化していく。

若手ながら、多くの展覧会やコラボレーションに参加し、2018年に初個展を開催。ファッションや音楽などのさまざまなクリエイティブ業界のアーティストとも合作。その中には、ファッションブランドの「TENDERPERSON」やオルタナティブロックバンド「King Gnu」とARTWORKコラボレーションしています。

Art exhibition "ZOOOM" by Ryusuke Sano.

WATOWA INC. (Representative: Takahiro Komatsu) is pleased to present "ZOOOM"  the new work of the emerging artist RYUSUKE SANO.
The exhibition will take place at elephant STUDIO 1F&２F（Tokyo, Japan.）



All the things Ryusuke Sano sees in everyday life, sounds, scenes, everything, he trims every moment and ZOOM it in. Each zoom is different from the other, has its own essence, its own story, everything with its own energy.

Emotions, energy, every single thing that each zoom is filed with, he puts it into the canvas using diverse materials.

From near, far, above, below. No matter from where you look at it, you'll be able to feel the energy. 

Zoom, a series that everyone can enjoy.

WHO IS RYUSUKE SANO?
RYUSUKE SANO was born in 1994, Sapporo, Hokkaido. He currently resides in Tokyo city where he started his career as an artist.

If I had to describe Ryusuke Sano's work  in three words, I would say colorful, layered and spontaneous.
The artist collects domestic images, sounds and sensations through the day, stocking them in his mind. He assembles all those daily life fragments employing techniques like collage, drawing and traditional painting using diverse materials such as acrylic paint, crayon, pen, etc.
The final product is a powerful, a little bit messy but yet harmonious image that slightly reminds us of Jim Dim's Heart with a fresh vibe.

Despite his young age, he has already  been part of many exhibitions and collaborations, had his first SOLO in 2018 and also collaborated with artists from different fields such as fashion and music, among them are the fashion brand TENDERPERSON and the acclaimed alternative rock band King Gnu.

At WATOWA/ elephantSTUDIO we believe that art has the power to heal and make the world  a better and plentiful place to live.
Now that the world is in a critical situation, art can become a way to connect us to "a better reality" , give people hope, and strength to keep going.
As a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will prepare hand sanitizer gel and operate as it follows.
・ Appointment system: Customers who do not have an appointment can also see the exhibition, but there is a possibility of waiting due to  a limitation of people that can be in each floor at the same time.
 ・ There are 2 floors, but the maximum number of guests on one floor will be limited to  5 persons.

・ Please refrain from people with symptoms such as fever and cough.

・ We will ask people to wear a mask when visiting the gallery.
